Importing Passwords via Browser Extensions

Importing passwords using the browser plugin is also pretty easy and straight forward. Again, export your passwords from your current password manager into a file. Then, in your PicKey.ai browser plugin, simply navigate to :

Extension Icon > Advanced > Import/Export > Import

…and select the platform you want to import from.

Then, simply upload the password file from that platform and press “Submit”.

The same import feature is available via PicKey's iOS and Android Apps too. 

Where do i get those files to import?

Pro Tip : Delete the password file after the import is complete.

A Few Important Points

• Certain Password Mangers export passwords as CSV (Comma Separated Value) files. If your password also contains a comma ( , ), it may cause a conflict during the import process and the record may be skipped.
• Once your import is complete, ensure that you delete the file that was used during the import. Such files should never be left on any device as they contain the wealth of your passwords.
• PicKey’s comprehensive Free Plan allows you to import up to 40 passwords, which is generally a sufficiently reasonable limit for most.
